Craftsmanship, Art and Passion
As a piano builder, I accompany artists, with precision, experience, and a subtle sensitivity to tone.
My work unites technical mastery with artistic vision, emerging in the dialogue between musician and instrument.
I am driven by a love of detail, a passion for music, and the expressive power of sound.

My professional journey began when my piano teacher introduced me to a piano maker. During my internship, I was deeply impressed by the precision and craftsmanship involved.
Although I had initially planned to study music after graduating from school, I ultimately decided to pursue training as a piano technician.
I completed my apprenticeship at Steinway & Sons in Hamburg. During this time, I became increasingly aware that tuning was a special passion of mine. After finishing my training, I worked for several years in the tuning department, where I received intensive education in tonal perception and tuning techniques. This allowed me to delve deeper into the many possibilities sound offers.
As part of my training, I completed an internship in harpsichord building at a specialized workshop in Berlin, followed by another internship at a piano house in Valencia, Spain.
Although the beginning was sometimes overwhelming and monotonous, today I cannot imagine a more beautiful and varied profession. Working with sound and precision fulfills me in a unique way and motivates me to always give my best.
